O What a Fabulous Weekend

We had a great weekend! We didn't do much of anything, just hung out around the house and got it ready for the Thanksgiving Feast! We are hosting Thanksgivng this year for BG's side of the family and I am really excited. SD only has two "real" cousins and they are quite a bit older than she is, but she has extended cousins that are much closer in age, so they will have a blast playing. I showed my man some R-E-S-P-E-C-T and cleaned the tar out of our house! I even moved furniture around to sweep and mop under, moved all of the rugs, and washed every washable mat in our house. Why is it that dog hair can find its way into every nook & cranny? Reagan, our lab-shepherd mix, has this shedding problem and it happens twice a year. It is that time and her tumbleweeds of fur roll through the house daily. The thing is, I really didn't mind cleaning because I broke it up over the two days. And I did other stuff in between, I went shopping, went to church, baked 4 dozen cookies, went to the grocery store, and did ALL of the laundry in the house, even SD's mattress pad! So, for shopping...

I got to go shopping with my friend Dal, for bedding for SD's big girl room. She is going to have a cowgirl room with a denim comforter and pink and brown accents, I can't wait to get it done. I have the fabric, now I just have to sew it all! That is a task that can be put off until at least March, right?
