A Little Bug

So yesterday when I was feeling horrible, SD was so well behaved all day, that I decided to bust out a surprise. I had bought a bunch of Halloween costumes last year after Halloween on clearance! I paid no more than $2 for any of them and the original costs were anywhere between $10 and $25. Anyway, I digress. So, I got the lady bug costume out and SD was so excited. She kept saying "bug, bug" and couldn't wait for me to help her get dressed up. She ran around in her little costume for at least an hour. She was even holding on to the table pointing her toes (I see ballet lessons in her future) and spinning around to make the skirt twirl. It was so much fun to see her playing dress up! SD is so funny, she is 100% girl some days, and other days, she just wants to play in the dirt! I am so thankful that she is well-rounded.

Oh, and the funny thing was that her PJs had ladybugs on them too. The bag she is holding is what the costume came in and she went in her playroom and tried to put her Grouchy Ladybug book in it!
