Alamo Heights Salad
We had some friends over on Friday night (The Bevolicious Family) and I was in charge of the salad. So I made it up with all sorts of yummy stuff. Well, when we went to eat, everyone was saying it was too pretty to mess up, etc. I finally dug into it, so no one would feel bad. After our friends left, BG told me that I had Alamo Heightsed the salad. I was shocked. Let me explain this salad to you (I really wish I had taken a picture now, but that would have made it worse). There was lettuce, then I threw on grape tomatoes, chickpeas, sliced onions, sliced bell peppers, carrots, cheese, croutons and sliced cucumbers around the side of the bowl. And then, I didn't mix it up. In my opinion, I just threw everything together and didn't take the time to mix it up, pure laziness, not to make it pretty! I totally saw my salad as the easy way out, not a tricked up fancy salad. Your thoughts?

Seriously...anytime you add chickpeas to a salad, it is tricked up! :)

That sounds like a totally standard salad to me. Not to mention DELICOUS. I bet it was the chickpeas that threw him over the edge. I'm with bv.
Also, you are the least lazy person I've ever met or ever plan to meet, no contest, THE END.
Tess - I am getting pretty lazy in my old age! Maybe you have rubbed off on me :)
Erin- you have been out of the bubble way too long. There is absolutly nothing in that salad that is Alamo Heightsy....Maybe if you added a fancy cheese or something....WOW!
EK - I didn't think so either!
