Parrot Head

So SD has turned into quite the little parrot. She repeats EVERYTHING that we say (note to self, stop saying Crap so much!). Anyway here are a couple of little stories about her repeating antics:

  • We went to get gas last weekend and I decided to go through the car wash, get the first layer of dirt off and all. The carwash TOTALLY freaked her out and when I say totally, I mean she was trying her hardest to get out of her carseat. Thankfully my MIL and SIL were in the car and we were all trying to calm her down, telling her she was okay and it was alright we were almost finished. So in between screaming at the brushes banging on her window she was repeating "I alright" "I okay" It was so cute it was hard not to laugh while consoling her. Thankfully, the car wash only lasted 2 minutes and she settled down after that.

  • When SD wakes up screaming in the middle of the night, I go into her room and pick her up. Telling her on my way that I am there and when I am holding her I say "Momma's got you." I heard her the other day telling her babies "I got you" It was so cute!

  • For V-day Cupid brought SD a kissing Elmo (see below). Anyway, she of course had to sleep with it last night. When I was changing her diaper this morning, I was showing her how Elmo gave kisses. She was repeating the kissing sound, it was hilarious!

Happy V-day is over day!

Becca - Start?!?!? How about she has already started! She wants a drink out of mine all of the time and my mom got her one with her name on it, so know when I fill mine up, she has to have her's filled up as well. Her's has a strap though so she can wear it!
