Sleaping Beauty

Yesterday I had to work from home becaue of some over planning by BG, he totally admitted this, so I am not saying anything that he didn't! Anyway, I resorted to letting SD watch another "Mouse" (Mickey Mouse Clubhouse) so that I could finish something up before we ate lunch. She had climbed up on our bed and wanted to watch it in our room. I let her watch one and when it was finished she came and got me. I was almost finished what I was doing, but she was whiny, so I thought, I will just let her watch another one while I finish up and then go turn it off. I just kept working and realized that she had not come to get me and it seemed quiet. So, I went in our room to check on her. This is what I walked in on...

Is that stinking cute or what! I guess that she was tired so she laid down on our bed and fell asleep! I was so excited to see this because she is about to have to start sleeping in a big girl bed before Linus arrives. She didn't roll off or anything and she went to sleep on her own. The other good news is that when she woke up, she cried out for me, she didn't get out of bed or anything! Upon seeing this, I did what any normal scrapbooker would do, I ran to get the camera, priorities must be in line! Then I called BG and told him. She ended up sleeping for an hour and a half or so. Then, the icing on the cake, she took another nap yesterday afternoon for 2 hours!!! Yeah!!!!

Is it ironic that your kid doesn't watch TV and mine does?

If by "ironic" you mean NOT COOL, then YES!

Ok so not to be the naysayer. But is she getting sick?? Thats a lot of napping in one day. Also the fussy thing.

She looks adorbable. The bed thing will be fine because you will do just like you do with everything else and set consistant rules about it.

I think she was over tired, she was not taking great naps and getting up too early. I do think she has had a cold that might be affecting it.

That is a great picture!

I don't know why that hadn't hit me before, but that is the irony of the CENTURY that AD won't watch TV but SD will!!!! Sorry, Tess, but that is absolutely hilarious!!

So precious! My little guy often falls asleep watching TV on my bed, too.
