The First of the Month

The first of the month is a busy time at our house. That is the day that we change everything. BG does most of it, but I do some of it as well. We change the air filters, give the dog their heart worm and flea medicine, change the bathroom stuff that wears out (razors, toothbrush, etc.). We are creatures of habit and live by schedules. It is nice to start out the month feeling refreshed and like everything that was worn out is new. It gives us a chance to start fresh, start over and try new things.

What do you do on the first of the month? Do you start a new exercise routine? Start eating healthy? Start a new cleaning schedule? How do you remember to change all of those things that need changing?

You know what I do at the beginning of every month? I say, "It's (month) already? Wow."

True statement. :)

I hope that's not a sign of old age!

I think I'm with Loni! I'm impressed that you are doing all those things! I have grandiose ideas of getting things done once a month, but I'm lucky to remember that we've moved into October! Thanks for the reminder!
Fireproof was AWESOME! Go see it! It's a great, powerful and discussion provoking movie. After Hubs and I got over the intensity of it, we had a great and wonderful discussion! I highly recommend it...you'd both get a lot out of it!

I also do the doggy heartworm/flea meds at the beginning of the month, but my trigger to change the air filters is when the electric bill comes. :)
